This was over 10 years in the making. I took the original image at the heart of the painting in was taken on the way to Bisbee, Arizona. We stumbled upon an abandoned motel. This TV was just sitting there in the middle of nothing. Displaced and alone. I fell in love with it. I wanted to paint it. I just didn't know what to do with it until this year. 11 TVs later and the painting was born. Kissed with golden elements. The tuning knobs are paper flowers I made. The 9 TVs in the Center Say "Hello I love you. Won't you tell me your name." The canvas is encased in images of my life and things I have created. Painted in 2026. 30 in by 40 in acrylic on canvas.
